AMANDA VINCENTI
actor singer educator
the big picture
I’ve taken to saying my passion (among lesser passions including tea, horses, sushi, and other small joys) is discovering where and how theatre can put good into the world. A trained actor, singer, and educator with an MA in Ed. Theatre, I pursue that discovery through various subjects and disciplines.

I'm taking on creative challenges and uncharacteristically reveling in the unknown. So far, those new challenges have included producing, directing, conducting research, and – returning to one of my earliest creative loves – writing. I'm eager to expand my own horizons and play with the boundaries of particular disciplines.
I’m especially interested in reimagining roles of women and nonbinary theatremakers in traditional and non-traditional spaces. Recently, that work has involved developing art and workshops that examine the current landscape and explore gender with artists and audience members.

One of my greatest joys is discovering with others how art fits into their own lives. Exploring and understanding one’s voice can be a valuable journey in this pursuit. My private voice lessons are tailored to each learner and target their individual goals – whether it’s preparing for auditions, developing musicality, shaking stage fright, or just finding joy in singing. My expertise is in elementary and young adult education, but I work with students of all ages and abilities.
